What a Curaterra client pays for
Curaterra holds and manages the nonclinical map surrounding independently provided dental care in Colombia—before travel, during the applicable in-country service period, and across defined stages when the journey requires more than one visit.
The agreed service may include pathway orientation and provider connection, pre-travel preparation, dependency and timing tracking, nonclinical communication continuity, agreed in-Colombia support, ordinary operational remapping, return-home transition, and bounded staged continuity.
What remains with the dental provider
The independent dental provider controls clinical records, evaluation, diagnosis, candidacy, recommendations, procedure design, risks and benefits, alternatives, medications, symptoms, pain, complications, healing, aftercare, emergencies, treatment changes, clinical completion, pricing, and outcomes.
Curaterra may identify who needs to respond and keep the surrounding operational dependency visible. Curaterra does not interpret or answer clinical questions and does not require unrestricted access to a provider's complete clinical record.
When paid service begins
Inquiry, preliminary fit, provider connection, provider-controlled record collection, and provider evaluation occur before Curaterra accepts payment. Submitting an inquiry does not create a paid engagement, reserve a service window, guarantee acceptance, or establish clinical candidacy.
A paid engagement begins only after a provider-defined pathway and timing parameters are sufficiently knowable, the client intends to proceed, Curaterra confirms scope and capacity, the applicable agreement is signed, and the Activation Payment is received.
Single-stage and staged journeys
A single-stage engagement uses an Activation Payment and a Colombia Activation Balance, ordinarily due approximately 14 days before the applicable Curaterra in-country service period.
A staged engagement is one continuous Curaterra service relationship spanning Visit 1 preparation and support, bounded inter-stage continuity, Visit 2 reactivation and preparation, Visit 2 support, and operational closure. Standard inter-stage holding is 12 months after return from Visit 1 unless extended in writing. It is not clinical monitoring or dental aftercare.
Availability and urgent concerns
Standard journey-management hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Colombia time, excluding published holidays or planned closures unless a specific active-service commitment controls. Active Colombia service hours are 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Colombia time on scheduled active-service days.
Same-day, next-business-day, and time-sensitive response references are operating targets when reasonably practicable, not guarantees. Curaterra does not provide 24/7 access, emergency response, continuous physical presence, caregiving, security, or clinical monitoring. Urgent clinical concerns and emergencies belong with the dental provider or appropriate emergency service.
Independent costs and providers
Curaterra's fee pays only for Curaterra's own service. Dental fees, flights, lodging, transportation, and other third-party costs remain separately established and charged unless an executed agreement expressly says otherwise. Curaterra is not a travel agency or tour operator and the current service is not an all-inclusive dental package.
Perfect Smile + Curaterra
Operating alignment for Curaterra clients. Curaterra has an operating relationship with Perfect Smile while maintaining a clear separation of roles: Curaterra holds the nonclinical client map; Dr. Adriana and Perfect Smile hold the clinical map. They are independent businesses, not one legal entity, and Curaterra does not control Perfect Smile's clinical work.
Controlling agreement
